Suitable and willing male and female candidates may WALK IN FOR INTERVIEW for engagement as Specialists in BSF Composite Hospitals and GDMOs (General Duty Medical Officers) in BSF hospitals on Contractual Basis as per the terms & conditions mentioned below:-

Date of Walk-in-Interview : 11th to 15th Feb 2013 at respective place of Walk-in-Interview as mentioned against these locations in para 10 (a) & (b) below.

Remuneration
(a) Specialist Doctors
For appointments in Class ‘A’ Class Cities – Rs. 64,009/¬-
For appointments in Class ‘B’ Class Cities – Rs. 60,841/¬-
For appointments in Unclassified areas- Rs. 57,672/-

(b) General Duty Medical Officers
For appointments in Class ‘A’ Class Cities – Rs. 53,025/-
For appointments in Class ‘BP Class Cities – Rs. 50,400/¬-
For appointments in Unclassified areas –  Rs. 47,175/

Age: Not more than 65 yrs

Educational & Professional Qualifications :
(a) Specialist Doctors : 
A recognized medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II or the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned Specialty as mentioned in Section-A or Section-B of Schedule-VI or equivalent.
1 1/2 (1.5) years experience for Post Graduate Degree holder & 2 1/2 Years for Diploma holder in the concerned specialty after obtaining the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent.

(b) General Duty Medical Officer :
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II or the Third Schedules should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-Sections (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Oil Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
Medical Examination
Immediately after interview on the same day the candidates will be medically examined by a Board of Medical Officers detailed by concerned Composite Hospital. Appointment will be subject to medical fitness.
Period of Contract
Period of Contract is three years or till the appointee attains the age of 65 years or till a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. Thereafter, the contract will lapse automatically. However, the appointment can be terminated at any time by giving one month’s notice (on either side) without assigning any reason by paying/refunding one month’s salary.
No Extension beyond the stipulated three years will be given. However, such an contractual appointee can apply again afresh on completion of 3 years tenure.
(7) Entitlement of Leave
The leave entitlement maybe governed in terms of DoP&Ts OM No. 12016/3/ 84-Estt(L) dated 12th April 1985, as amended from time to time.
The appointee shall not have any claim or right to regular appointment to any post under CAPFs.
The appointee shall be on whole time appointment of the institution and shall not accept any other appointment, paid or other otherwise, during the period of contract.
Other conditions of contract will be governed by the relevant rules and order issued from time to time.
